  The Bungalow Caravan Park in Morecambe sits on the outskirts of the popular town, offering welcome peace and quiet. The beautiful Promenade is a short 20-minute walk away, as are the attractions that the town has to offer.

  There are plenty of local amenities nearby which provide you with all you need. A small shopping area of local businesses is within 10 minutes and there are Aldi, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys supermarkets located around The Bungalow Leisure Park.

  Furthermore, there is also a sports centre within 5 minutes’ drive which gives you access to fitness sessions, a swimming pool, and a fully equipped gym. For those interested in golf, then there are a number of course to select from across Morecambe, Heysham & Lancaster. Other sports facilities in the vicinity include tennis, children’s play areas, and bowling.

  Historical Days Out
  For those with an interest in heritage, there are endless places to visit. A short walk away from the parks, the Winter Gardens provide an insight into the entertaining past of the resort. Many events are held here, and you can also take part in a tour. As one of the local areas most well known figures, visitors can pay their respects to Eric Morecambe by visiting his statue. This is located alongside the prom and is free to visit. The nearby city of Lancaster can be reached by bus, train or car. Here you can explore the city museum for information about the local regiment. You can also take a trip to the Castle, which has parts that date back to the Norman period.

  There are endless activities to do if you are interested in the outdoors. Happy Mount Park is one of the most popular parks in the Lancaster and Morecambe area. Here you can enjoy fresh air, play adventure golf, or explore the splash park.

  If hiking is something you’d like to do, then you are spoilt for choice with the picturesque Lake district right on your doorstep, with regular train and bus routes available. Here you can walk Scafell Pike or enjoy a stroll alongside Lake Windermere.

  The town of Morecambe provides endless fun for all the family, no matter what age you are. There is Jump Rush, 10-lane bowling alley Soul Bowl, and the Bay Sea School. Both the town centre and Arndale Shopping Centre have an array of shops to explore, providing you with all the items you need.
