As well as many shops, pubs, churches and even ancient stocks, Poulton is fast becoming an international dining location. In the tour around the town you can find no less than three Italian restaurants, two Thai, two Chinese, a French and an Indian. In addition there is a traditional fish & chip shop and several varieties of take aways.
Going further Over Wyre are the villages of St Michael and Garstang (becoming famous for its cheeses). Going north you can take in the City of Lancaster or the Lake District is only an hour away by car.
