  Woodleigh Caravan Park is located on the outskirts of Dartmoor National Park, just off the A30 near Cheriton Bishop. It’s the perfect park if you’re travelling around the Southwest, just 12 miles from Exeter.

  Woodleigh is a small, quiet, family-run holiday park. As well as lodges the park also accommodates static caravans on-site, touring caravans, motorhomes, as well as tents & trailer tents. This fully family-friendly park also features two lakes for you to enjoy a spot of fishing.

  At Woodleigh Caravan Park the aim is to offer you and your furry friend(s) a place to relax and unwind, providing you with a wonderful base to break your journey or enjoy a relaxing holiday whilst you enjoy the wonderful surroundings of Devon, Dartmoor & the surrounding areas.

  Woodleigh Coach House is located next to the park where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, refreshments and they serve hot food until 3pm.

  Woodleigh Coach House Cafe is just 5 minutes walk way, here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or delicious homemade cream tea’s, hot food served til 3pm. It’s fully licenced and serves a range of local beers and ciders together with a selection of wines.

  24 Hour Security – Your peace of mind is the park’s top priority. Woodleigh Caravan Park assures 24-hour security, with a dedicated warden on-site and camera coverage throughout the park. This vigilant security setup ensures that whether you’re at the park or away, your property and privacy are safeguarded around the clock.

  Two lakes if you fancy a spot of fishing.

• Local Area

  Woodleigh Caravan Park is a quiet and idyllic holiday park near Exeter, located just off the A30 near the village of Cheriton Bishop.

  This park is ideal for enjoying Devon, Dartmoor & the surrounding areas.

  There’s a country pub 5 minutes walk away. The park has a bus stop located directly at the entrance.

  If you’re a cyclist or avid walker, there are plenty of routes locally for you to enjoy including a walk around Teign Gorge & Castle Drogo which s a 9.65km trek that starts in Drewsteignton which is 9 minutes away from our park.

  There are also plenty of both off-road and road-based cycling routes located close by our park including the Tedburn Loop, Fingle to Changford Loop and we’re located close to the National Route 28 cycling route, which is a 78 miles ( 125km ) route which explores large parts of Devon.

  Castle Drago & Teign Gorge

  Castle Drago was the last castle to be built in Britain, the castle itself being only 100 years old.

  The castle has breathtaking views across Teign Gorge, which offers miles of pathways and routes for you to explore. Spend a day exploring the castle & its pristinely managed gardens, including The Formal Garden which is the biggest garden managed by the National Trust at 250 meters.

  Dartmoor National Park

  Dartmoor National Park is wild, open moorland rich in history and a destination for rare wildlife.

  Whether you’re looking to explore the beauty of Dartmoor by foot or on a bike, there are many easy & challenging routes available for all. Dartmoor also has highly accessible hiking routes having a “miles without stiles” scheme, which offers people with limited mobility the opportunity to explore Dartmoor on mobility scooters or with walking aids.

  Exeter

  Located only 25 minutes from the park, Exeter has plenty to offer for all of the family. If you’re looking to do a bit of shopping, Exeter has two shopping centres which boast over 60 retail units & restaurants.

  You can also discover Exeter’s maritime history by visiting Exeter Quayside which is a great place to relax or dine alfresco.

  There are endless outdoor activities for you to enjoy also including Golfing, Fishing, Climbing, Water sports and much more there is something for everyone to enjoy.

  Torquay

  Torquay is only an hour away from our parks and has been voted one of the UK’s best staycation destination. It provides a fantastic day out whatever you wish to do.

  With miles of golden sand beaches and coves, a day by the sea can be finished with some wonderful food & scenery.

  There are also many day trips and excursions that run from Torquay with the “English Riveria” being a designated UNESCO Global Geopark.
