  The nine-hole Adventure Golf course provides entertainment for the whole family. Free for all to use, simply collect your clubs and a ball from The Lake House and enjoy.

  Ullswater Heights is home to one of the largest populations of great crested newt in Cumbria. They have constructed a ‘newt hotel’ and four ponds for this protected species and other amphibians to live safely.

  Badgers frequently pay them a visit, snuffling for earthworms in the surrounding fields.

  They are also lucky enough to have a resident barn owl and a peregrine falcon, so keep an eye out for these beautiful birds swooping overhead.
