    Crook O’Lune Holiday Park is perfect for fly fishing on the River Lune, which is famous as a location for Salmon and Trout fishing. Licences are available from several nearby spots.

    Walking
    The Crook O’Lune is a walker’s paradise and the enthusiast with a long weekend to spare might tackle the 37 mile Lunesdale Walk. For those preferring something shorter, there are numerous easier walks that have spectacular views across the Lune Valley with a backdrop of the Three Peaks in the distance. As a mid distance walk there is a 16.5 mile Lune Valley Ramble from Lancaster to Kirkby Lonsdale that should fit the bill. Many of the walks are part of the River Lune Millennium Park and a detailed brochure is available from our reception.

    Setting out from Crook O’Lune Caravan Park leads you onto the wonderful Lune Park cycleway where you venture through the beautiful, constantly changing countryside nestling between the rivers Lune and Keer, with Lovely villages and places of interest to explore along the way. The route is all on road over undulating topography and take you through 42km of lush Lancashire scenery. The route should take the average rider around 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete.
